Is Thor: Ragnarok the best Thor yet?

By Abigail Gentrup

Hello again! There were few good movies that came out but for the sake of space, I will just talk about two again. Jigsaw, another of the SAW movies, came out on October 27, 2017. Interesting enough for me, I love scary movies and October 27 is my birthday! I remember when I was growing up, I would go to the basement and watch all of the Saw movies all myself. I'm pretty sure my parents were a little concerned about what I was interested at such a young age, but I think I turned out okay! Anyway, the other movie we will talk about was very hyped up. Thor: Ragnarok was released on November 3. It was the third independent Thor movie starring Chris Hemsworth. I must say, I really enjoyed seeing it!

Jigsaw

If you've seen any of the other Jigsaw movies, you probably have an idea about what this movie is about. Law enforcement officials are looking for someone they think is dead – John Kramer. John Kramer was known for putting people in a game where they had to kill each other or do gruesome things to themselves to live.

The search results for the movie Jigsaw didn't do as well as the search results for "Thor," which I'll talk some more about later. I got both of these movie results from semrush.com. There ended up being a volume of 135K and the number of results totaled to 86.8 million. The cost per click was $1.05. What I noticed when looking at the overview was you couldn't really differentiate when someone was searching for the movie Jigsaw or when someone was searching for actual Jigsaw puzzles. This really stuck out to me when I noticed the term "jigsaw puzzles" had a higher volume than just "jigsaw" at 165K. What's you think about the movie?

Thor: Ragnarok

Thor:Ragnarok was about what most Avenger movies are about – superheroes. Thor gets dragged into another world and the movie goes through his journey to survive. In the movie, you might even see some other Avengers characters!

The word "Thor" had a great number of impressions. The volume was 301.K and the number of results ended up being 214 million. The cost per click was $1.21 which personally, this seems pretty high. There ended up being 7, 650 phrase match keywords including thor Ragnarok and thor 3. What I found interesting was none of the top keywords were misspellings of the word thor. It my past blogs, this has been one of the biggest downfalls of searched words. If people spell a word wrong, all of their search results will be off.
