Starbucks is one of my favorite places to get coffee. I had an early meeting yesterday morning and decided to run into Starbucks beforehand. With pure luck, there was only one other customer in line before me. I knew it would only take her about three minutes (if that) to order so I waited in line. As I am minding my own business scrolling through Twitter on my phone, I hear a lot of laughter behind the desk. My first thought was that I had something on my face or missed my turn in line and they were trying to get my attention. WRONG
I look up and realize I have been waiting for this ONE person for over 10 minutes. I put my phone down and try to figure out what all of the commotion is about. Finding nothing, I realize it is my turn and greet the worker.
I ordered my normal Chai Tea Latte with whipped cream. After, he rudely said, "Anything else?" Out of curiosity I said yes and asked what the lady before me had ordered. His response blew my mind.
"Grande Chai Tea Latte, 4 pump, 2% milk, no foam, extra hot, 2% whipped cream."
My jaw had dropped and I quickly understood why his workers were chuckling as he shared his frustration. He appreciated my simple order.
How crazy can you make your order?
