How to successfully post clothing advertisements on YouTube

A majority of pre-roll ads on YouTube are something to be tolerated, muted, and most probably skipped immediately after the required five seconds have passed. It's nothing personal but the patience behind the YouTube community runs fairly thin. They would much rather get to their video as fast as possible with as minimal sidetracks.

With that being said, how can advertisers create branded videos that users would want to watch?

For an advertisement to be willingly obtained by the YouTube community, it needs to be able to grab the attention of its viewers within the first five second window. It needs to stand out as an entertaining, impulsively shareable story. It can't just be your basic box standard advertisement on which you see on the television. The advertisement has to incorporate a viral genre or topic together with the brand of which is being advertised.

The "Circles" Commercial by Levi's compromises all the basic needs for a stellar YouTube advertisement that works well as a YouTube advertisement. The advertisement generated 23,142,201views as of August 2017. "Circles" celebrated the individuality and connectedness through music and dance that complements the Levi's brand as a whole. In my opinion, this is perfect for the worldwide audience on YouTube as many around the world are able to relate to it. The message behind the advertisement is how everyone dances in circles when they come together. Moving as one, and celebrating the individual who takes the center. Unity and individuality comes alive in this well-orchestrated movement accompanied by the hashtag "#LiveInLevis".
