By Kelsey Hansen

Welcome back DIGIA experts to be! In today’s post I will list a couple digital analytics tools that can be used to help accomplish your digital plan. In my last post, we discussed how to formulate your digital strategy and now its time for some action. Listed below are online tools that help accomplish your plan by analyzing online data and traffic.

1.     Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a great option because it’s wait for it, free. It’s cost efficient and provides great analysis and customization for your digital needs. Also, it provides courses to help you become an analytics expert and use the tool to its full potential. All you need is a Google account, which quite common and easy to set up.

2.     Hootsuite

Hootsuite also offers some great free features, but there are premium features that require payment. If you’re curious about the realm of social media and improving your social channels, Hootsuite is the perfect tool for you. It offers easy to use dashboards that allow you to monitor and post to all of your social media from Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter, in one place. There are also courses offered to improve knowledge of the site, but there is a fee.

3.     SEMrush

Curious about your competition? Then SEMrush is your optimal tool. Compare and contrast competitor’s websites and find out what keywords they use in their website and advertisements to help them stand out. SEMrush offers a handful of free searches so use them wisely, if not it does cost about $100 per month to $315 per month depending on what functionality you want to use.

For novices who want to dip their feet in the DIGIA water I highly recommend using Google Analytics because it offers great educational courses and data metrics that other tools make you pay for.  So you now know some tools of the DIGIA trade, now it’s time to dig deep into the data and learn about consumer insights!
