The overall topic that I am choosing to write my blog about is the car dealership business. I think that there are tons of stuff in that industry that where data can be used as an advantage. (Is the audience the people interested in the car business and the analytics to improve it? Or is it people who are interested in analytics in general? Most of the digital analytics that I will be using are from the website of the dealership I work for. AutoOneCredit.com

For my first blog, I would like to talk about the time of year when the website and business experience the most traffic and when the slowest times of the year are.

The second blog will go over which type of vehicles receive the most impressions on the site. I could look at make/model/color/year and figure out which ones are the best sellers.

For my 3rd blog post I will cover the amount of people who land on the website and successfully submit an online credit application. This is a great way to measure success as well, lead generations are key to increasing the number of units you sell.

On the 4th blog post I would analyze where the people landing on our website are coming from. I would imagine a lot come from Facebook, but it is useful to know how many people come from other places like Google and other search engines. This way, if we find there's a place sending in a lot of people, we can put some more effort into those channels.

Lastly, for my last blog I want to cover the benefits to getting up close and personal for your audience. Analyzing their information like their geographical location, device they're using and even the language that their browser is set to can prove to be a huge advantage. With that information, you can better understand your audience and target the more precisely.
