What kind of data are you using to grow your instabrand? Instagram's built-in Insights analytics is the best tool for beginners. You can learn how well your posts and stories do over time plus gain audience insights. Set goals! Followers and likes are easily tracked and are a good starting point. Before we get started, here are the basic metrics you'll run into.

The overview of Insta Analytics is pictured above. It's a simple snapshot of your data. Look closer to see how these numbers change over time. Have your website clicks decreased? Try updating the link occasionally. You may notice fluctuations in reach based on your posting schedule and timing. Be consistent in posting to keep your reach positive. Outside Data
The data you find within the app will help you specifically, but don't forget to do some outside research. Did you know posting on Wednesday at 7 pm will get you the most engagement? What about those hashtags? Be sure to know what's trending! You can look at Twitter and Facebook to find trending hashtags and topics. Act on what you find This will increase your reach and keep your content relevant to a wider audience.
Analyzing Your Audience
This is the most helpful feature when you're starting to find your brand. Find who is viewing and engaging most with your content. Is it who you expected? If so, good job! If not, don't worry! You can adjust your target audience based on your data or adjust your upcoming content to target your original audience more specifically.
