How are you impacting musicians' income?

Some will consider music streaming is bad for musicians. Unlike the old times where musicians can earn about $9.99 every time one of their records sells, they are earning a lot less nowadays in a tech-savvy generation. People, who decide to pay for music streaming services instead of buying CDs, unintentionally affect musicians' income. For 1000 streams in this generation, they would only earn $12 on Apple Music, $7.50 on Spotify, and $1.50 on YouTube. (Daniel Sanchez, Digital Music News) Obviously, they would still earn a lot considering how extremely popular music streaming is nowadays. However, we would not have been talking about the negative impact if musicians could still make $9,990 for 1000 CDs sold. This proves the technology is not always good, and not always people are aware of the negative impact they have on something through technology.
