Advertisers uses data?





Data is used for just about anything. We can answer the question of "why do people use data?" Because it helps you make better decisions. But why? Frederic Klanke who is a manage director at Amigo said that there are five reasons why you should use data to make better decisions. The give reasons are data is the truth, data improves things, data predicts the future, data breeds innovation, and data is your competitive advantage. There are a lot of data that advertisers can collect to better themselves at what they do!


According to Forbes, data provides marketers with the insight needed to tailor advertising campaigns and it helps them maximize engagement among target audiences. One of the things that advertisers uses most is customers data. The reason that consumer data is important to advertisers is because it allows them to figure out how to better connect with their “users and reaching desired marketing outcomes.” Advertisers are able to use the data that they have obtained and find out what is working, what is not working, as well as why is or is not working. One of the reasons why it is not working may be because the target audience for a particular ad did suit well.

An article called “How advertisers get customer data and what they do with it” stated that “if advertising is the “lifeblood of internet”, information about customers and their online habits is the “lifeblood” of successful advertising.” Data helps advertisers create a campaign or just a regular ad that is targeting the right people of which would save costs and increase efficiency. Learning user behavior is also important for advertisers to look at.
