To conclude my blog posts on how nutritionist can be more helpful and precise I want to relate the information that we have learned to different applications that people have found very useful. According to an article from the Journal of Medical Internet Research it was found that fitness apps encourage positive behavioral changes. "It's discovered that almost 75% of current app users reported being more active, as opposed to under half of non-users and former users."
Whether you chose MyFitnessPal, Nike+, or Lose It! – Calorie Counter each application has things to offer to help motivate you to stay on track. Within these apps you can set a goal for yourself and track how much you are consuming. It even gives you the option to scan the food item so that your results are more accurate. Calculating the calories that you are consuming compared to how much activity you are pursing gives you the chance to be your own nutritionist.
"Dr. David E. Conroy, Ph.D, the lead author on the study says that self-monitoring is an incredibly important behavioral change involved in the workout process, and that a lot of this teach enables people to see their progress."
MyFitnessPal is found to be the number one database for nutrition facts. This is an example of what your page may look like. Each food item that you present the application with breaks it down into different calories to understand what you are putting in your body. The top reason why people have found this app incredibly useful is, "MyFitnessPal has the largest database available in a diet tracker and includes many restaurant foods." If this app doesn't have what you're looking for multiple people found other great apps on their cell phones that have worked for them.
Throughout my posts I hope that you have learned how important nutrition is for each individual. With the data and analytics that is presented it is clear that there is becoming more opportunities to track your health. These analytics will provide you with accurate metrics and you can see the results you're looking for.
Focusing on your nutrition isn't always going to be easy but in the long run it will be the best thing for you. Never give up on finding the results you want!
